Each year, the Social Work Conference is held by students in the Social Work Professional Program. This year our topic is domestic violence with the title being Breaking the Silence: Healing and Prevention for Domestic Violence. The conference will be focused on educating on domestic violence and how it affects individuals, families, and communities. Also, it will provide ways to heal and help others that have experienced domestic violence. It will also provide tools for professionals that work with victims and their families.
