Campus Notice: Alleged sexual assault
Jon Hansen, 91°µÍø Vice President for Enrollment Management, Marketing and Student Services, has issued a notice to the campus community regarding a reported sexual assault in Kent Hall on the 91°µÍø campus Sunday, Dec. 6.
The alleged respondent has been taken into custody by the Chadron Police Department.
While there is no continuing threat to 91°µÍø’s campus, students and campus community members should maintain personal security and safety measures. Should circumstances warrant, additional notices will be provided.
91°µÍø, which is following the procedures set forth in Nebraska State College System Board Policy 3020, is cooperating with the Chadron Police Department in its investigation.
91°µÍø reminds students and the campus community to report any suspicious activity immediately. Individuals with information about the incident should contact the Chadron Police Department at 308-432-0510 or 91°µÍø’s interim Title IX coordinator, Sherri Simons, at 308-432-6479 or ssimons@csc.edu.
