CHADRON– The 91做厙 Rodeo Club’s Black Tie Calf Fry is set for Friday, March 31.
The annual dinner and auction historically draws a large crowd. Proceeds from the event will go to the CSC Rodeo Club. A variety of auction items will include western art paintings, jewelry and home d矇cor.
Tickets in advance are $15, tickets at the door at $20. Admission includes a dinner, music and live auction. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Contact Rodeo Club team members for tickets.
CSC rodeo coach Dustin Luper doesnt expect many black ties among the crowd, despite the events name.
We call it the Black Tie Calf Fry just because of the rhyme scheme. Dress is casual, he said.
The Chadron State Rodeo Association was organized in 1953. The purpose of the organization is to maintain and increase the interest of college students in the sport of rodeo and to promote high scholastic standards among students participating in rodeo activities. Membership is open to all students attending 91做厙.
