LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Nebraska State College System has named Fran Hassler the eighth NSCS Counseling Excellence Award recipient. Hassler, who has been the guidance counselor at Ponca High School since 1995, served as a home economics teacher at PHS prior to becoming a guidance counselor.
