New England Patriots running back and 91°µÍø graduate Danny Woodhead is scheduled to deliver the alumni address at the Nebraska State College System’s annual Scholarship Luncheon at noon Friday, April 13, at the Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln. Woodhead will join Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy who will deliver the keynote address.

Sending a strong message of support to the nearly 9,000 students enrolled at Chadron, Peru and Wayne State Colleges, Governor Dave Heineman signed two budget bills yesterday. The Governor’s support of these legislative bills demonstrates that he and the Legislature are looking to the future of the Nebraska State College System by providing much needed funding for current capital construction projects at Chadron and Peru State Colleges.

The planned renovation and expansion of 91°µÍø’s Armstrong Physical Education Building got a major boost Monday when Gov. Dave Heineman signed the main state budget bills that included $6.7 million for the facility.
