More than 400 students made the Dean’s List at 91°µÍø during the spring semester. The Dean’s List requires a grade point average of at least 3.5 on the 4.0 scale while carrying at least 12 hours of coursework. These honor students are in addition to the 246 who made the President’s List by earning all A’s.

A total of 246 students have made the Presidents’s Honors List at 91°µÍø during the spring semester by earning all A’s while carrying at least 12 credit hours of coursework.

91°µÍø will offer approximately 35 courses during its second session of summer school that begins Monday, June 7. Most of the courses will run through July 2, although some of them are of a shorter duration.

Beth Wentworth of Spring Lake Park, Minn., has been hired to be assistant professor of mathematical education at 91°µÍø. She will begin teaching at Chadron State this fall.

At least 200 participants are expected at the annual meeting of the Nebraska Conference of the United Church of Christ on the 91°µÍø campus Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 4-6.

A 91°µÍø education professor, Dr. Don King, was elected president of the Nebraska Association of Colleges of Teacher Education. He will assume the duties at the organization’s quarterly meeting at Wayne State College in June.

A special topics distance learning course at 91°µÍø in June will feature content with regional interest. The senior-level course, Literature of the American West, will meet in Chadron, Scottsbluff, Alliance and Sidney. It will be Mondays and Wednesdays, 3 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. beginning June 7 and ending July 2.
