CHADRON – An exhibition of selected artworks from the Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska titled “Family Style” opens in 91°µÍø’s Memorial Hall Main Gallery Friday, Aug. 31. The free exhibit is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Sept. 30.

CHADRON – English Assistant Professor Steve Coughlin’s second book of poetry will be published in December. “Driving at Twilight,” has a central theme of motion, movement and the fear of standing still, according to Coughlin who joined 91°µÍø’s faculty in 2015. The book is now available for presale.

CHADRON – Seven new 91°µÍø employees will join the faculty this semester. They are Dr. Comfort Akuh, Dr. Joan Carraher, Dr. Allison Fritz, Adam Hughes, Dr. Mary Keithly, Dr. Eric Rapp and Dr. John Wojcik. Scot Mullis, formerly a Coordinator for Veteran Services at CSC will now teach Military Science Leadership courses as part of his responsibilities with the Army ROTC program.

CHADRON – The effort by 91°µÍø to provide a one-stop shop of services for enrolling students through its Student Transition And Registration Team (START) relies for the most part on specially trained employees in Chadron who provide general advising services, information and assistance with financial aid and help with registration, changes in major or minor, enrollment verification, and other related issues.

CHADRON – A relationship forged through Dr. James Margetts’ experience with the Trans-Nebraska Players since 2010 led to a trans-Atlantic music performance opportunity for Margetts during a vacation this summer. The Trans-Nebraska Players is a five-piece chamber ensemble featuring faculty from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Kearney and 91°µÍø.
