CHADRON – The 91°µÍø theatre department is preparing to present Delirium, an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart, written by Assistant Professor and Director Brian Grob along with Elena Yazykova. The production will have a total of eight shows at the Black Box Theatre Oct. 30-31, and Nov. 1, Nov. 6-8 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 1 and Nov. 8 at 1 p.m.

CHADRON — 91°µÍø will present the Distinguished Alumni Award to Lisa Moravec and Distinguished Young Alumni Awards to Loni Watson and Dr. Jacob Zitterkopf during halftime of the football game Saturday, Oct. 11 as part of Friends and Family Weekend. Family Tree Awards will also be given to the Owens family and the Marshall family.

CHADRON – 91°µÍø alumnus Morse Clary’s retrospective show will be in the Main Gallery of Memorial Hall, Monday through Oct. 31. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show is free and open to the public. His widow, Cathy Clary, is lending more than 50 of Clary’s sculptures to exhibit, including a piece from 1962, when Clary was the first to present a senior art student solo show.

CHADRON – 91°µÍø seniors in the SW 435 class will host the annual Social Work Conference on Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the CSC campus. This year’s theme is Breaking the Silence: Healing and Prevention for Domestic Violence. The event is free to the public, with no registration required. The first 75 attendees will receive a free lunch. Current students will need to purchase lunch using their meal plans.

CHADRON -- The Marshall and Owens families each received the Family Tree Awards on Friday and were honored during halftime of the football game on Saturday. According to the requirements listed online, each recipient family must include a minimum of three generations of graduates. At least two of the family members must have a record of outstanding service to the college, the alumni association, their community, or their profession.

LINCOLN – The Board of Trustees of the Nebraska State Colleges voted Monday to appoint Dr. Jodi Kupper as the next President of 91°µÍø, removing the “interim” designation from her title and affirming their full confidence in her leadership and vision for the College’s future.
