CHADRON – Responding to the severe shortage of lawyers in many small Nebraska communities, 91°µÍø is offering students who are interested in practicing law in a rural area of the state full tuition undergraduate scholarships and provisional acceptance to the University of Nebraska College of Law through a program developed in collaboration with UNL and the Nebraska State Bar Association.

CHADRON – The 91°µÍø Theatre department will present a psychological thriller, “The Nether,” Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in Memorial Hall’s Black Box Theatre. The production, which straddles real life and virtual reality, is intended for mature audiences.

CHADRON – Mary Donahue, 91°µÍø art professor, designed a book cover that is on top-selling Amazon lists this year. “Pants Optional: Unconventional tips for your road through life & motherhood,” was written by Carol L. Steingreaber, an elementary and high school friend of Donahue’s from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

CHADRON – Veterans from the Vietnam and WWII eras were honored with 16 quilts Friday in the 91°µÍø Student Center Ballroom. CSC alumna and former Family and Consumer Science (FCS) major Erica Fisher, who organized the event, delivered two additional quilts to veterans unable to attend the ceremony.
