Approximately 30 graduates of 91°µÍø during the 2007-08 school year have signed teaching contracts for this fall, according to a report from the Internship and Career Services Office at CSC. Twenty-three courses are being offered during 91°µÍø's final summer session that begins next week. Most of the courses will begin Monday, July 7, and run through Aug. 1. About half of the courses are on the graduate level, designed for those seeking master’s and specialist’s degrees. The remaining courses are available on the undergraduate level.

An exhibit at the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center at 91°µÍø explores the history and culture behind an important tradition in Mexico. “A Celebration of Souls: Day of the Dead in Southern Mexico” depicts the celebration of spirits of the deceased through lively photographs and is on display at the center through Aug. 28.

Victoria Badura, a certified public accountant from Omaha, will teach business courses at 91°µÍø beginning this fall. Badura comes to CSC after serving as an instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she taught courses in management information systems and accounting. She also was managing editor of the e-Service Journal, a multi-disciplinary publication that covers topics relevant to researchers and practitioners of “e-business” and “e-government.”
