CHADRON – Given the challenge of creating a specialty license plate design featuring an iconic Nebraska big game animal, eight 91°µÍø students in Mary Donahue’s graphic design class did so well the organization that requested the work has had a hard time selecting which one of the designs it would like to see on Nebraska vehicles.

CHADRON –The Big Event staff at 91°µÍø conducted its inaugural Mini Big Event Thursday, Nov. 15, in Chadron. Eleven members of The Big Event staff, including nine students, graduate assistant Kelsey Brummels and Faculty Adviser Dr. Shaunda French-Collins, volunteered and completed five jobsites in three hours.

CHADRON – The Eagle Ridge student housing project has won a Nebraska Honor award, the highest level offered by the American Institute of Architects. This is the second award for a 91°µÍø project designed by BVH Architecture of Lincoln. The Rangeland Lab won in April 2017.

CHADRON – Students from 16 Nebraska high schools competed Wednesday in the annual District 12 National FFA Organization Leadership Contest at 91°µÍø, the site of the competition for 14 years. CHADRON – 91°µÍø’s Senior Thesis Art Show, “A Look Into the Sublime,” opens Monday in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery. The show will be open until Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. CHADRON – The 91°µÍø Social Work annual conference, started in 2008, has received two $10,000 gifts from an anonymous donor, according to Social Work professor Bruce Hoem. In addition, the donor has invested $30,000 in an endowed scholarship for social work majors.
