CHADRON – The Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) at 91°µÍø has earned plenty of attention in the nearly three decades since it began as a joint effort with the University of Nebraska Medical Center to help provide doctors, nurses and other health care workers for underserved rural areas.

CHADRON – As a candidate for governor in Minnesota, Tim Walz wanted to unite the state as “One Minnesota.” And following a successful campaign, Walz became the first 91°µÍø graduate ever elected governor of one of the 50 states. After serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for 12 years, Walz was sworn in as Minnesota’s 41st Governor Jan. 7 in St. Paul.
