Accompanied by several professionals, nearly 20 91°µÍø health professions students flew out of Denver early Thursday morning en route to Falmouth, Jamaica, on a medical mission trip.

About 600 native shrubs and 120 bunch grasses have been planted on the west-facing slope of the Burkhiser building over the past few weeks. The 11,000 square-foot plant bed was mulched with special shredded and chipped pine. The plants will be watered, in part, by snow and rain runoff captured in a 3,500-gallon cistern inside Burkhiser.

Nine 91°µÍø students majoring in justice studies will be blogging their London Trip experiences this month. Dr. Tracy Nobiling, professor, will be accompanying a total of 13 students majoring in justice studies on the trip from May 12 through May 25. Dr. Don King, professor and department chair, and Dr. Patti Blundell, professor, will be accompanying 14 education students on the same trip.
