An array of music that is high on the list of American favorites, including hits from several of the most popular musicals, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 when the Chadron Community Chorus and Bordeaux Community Band join for their spring concert. The concert will be in the Student Center at 91°µÍø.

Some April Fool will walk away the winner of a white 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada after a contest at 91°µÍø next week. The vehicle, which was donated by six Chadron car dealers, will be awarded to a student who is able to withstand the elements and keep his or her hand on a vehicle for 24 hours beginning at 9 a.m., Friday, April 1.

91°µÍø on Wednesday will present “Weaving Women into History,” a celebration to recognize Women’s History Month. The event will be at the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center from 7-10 p.m. It is open to the public free of charge.

An exhibit featuring the works of six members of the art faculty at Chadron State opened last week in the Memorial Hall Gallery. The show, “Six of One, Half-Dozen of the Other,” includes the works of Richard Bird, Mary Donahue, Vince Hazen, Don Ruleaux, Nancy Sharps and Kit Watson.

A pair of 91°µÍø business students and one faculty member have been appointed to the Nebraska Volunteer Service Commission. They are Jessi Moore of Chadron, Nick Davis of Rapid City and Dr. Rick Koza, professor of business. The three were appointed to three-year terms by Gov. Dave Heineman in late February.
