George S. McGovern will be the keynote speaker at the Mari Sandoz Heritage Society’s annual meeting at 91°µÍø on Thursday, March 30. The announcement was made on Friday during the news conference at CSC to discuss the receipt of the gift of Dawes County ranchland from Esther Pilster and her late husband Raleigh to the Sandoz Society.

As of Wednesday, Jan. 18, fewer than 40 tickets remained for nationally syndicated cowboy poet Baxter Black’s performance at 91°µÍø. The show will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Black has written several books and produced numerous CDs and videos. He frequently recites his poetry on National Public Radio.
