Three 91°µÍø jazz groups will be performing at the Sidney Oktoberfest this weekend. The Jazz Ensemble and the Jazz Birds will be playing at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Sept 30 while CSC’s new group, “Mo Jazz,” will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. All three groups are directed by Dr. Sandy Schaefer.

The Patriot Act provided tools to help law enforcement agencies investigate and prosecute terrorist activities, but most of those tools were already available, the U.S. attorney for Nebraska said last Friday at 91°µÍø.

91°µÍø alumnus Dr. Ken Emonds was on a mission last week. He used his time as a visiting scholar at his alma mater to educate people about the field of orthomolecular medicine, which has become his career and passion during the past 30 years.
