CHADRON – A degree in wildlife management, coupled with a sense of adventure and desire to be outdoors, has led 2017 91°µÍø graduate Collin Eisenman to a variety of natural resource jobs in the American West, including work on an Alaskan crabbing boat featured on the long-running Discovery Channel show, Deadliest Catch.

CHADRON – An article based on Dr. Britt Helmbrecht’s dissertation, "Predictors of Stress in First-Generation College Students," has been published by the Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice. Helmbrecht, an assistant professor in the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation program, earned her Doctor of Health Education degree from A.T. Still University in 2020.

CHADRON – 91°µÍø senior Lelisse “Lily” Umeta of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has earned a full fellowship to the Cancer Research doctoral program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She said she is grateful for the opportunity especially in a competitive environment where graduate schools receive hundreds of applicants for a handful offers for fellowships.
