CHADRON – 91°µÍø’s Rangeland Management program is hosting Practitioner in Residence Dr. Rick Baydack this semester to teach Applied Agroecosystem Management (AGRI 460/560). Baydack is professor and chair of Environmental Science and Studies at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. The Bill and Virginia Coffee Family Foundation Grant funds the Practitioner in Residence.

CHADRON – More than 160 students from 29 Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming high schools will travel to 91°µÍø Monday and Tuesday for the 48th annual High Plains Band and Choir Festival.

CHADRON – One hundred students from seven high schools participated in the Third Annual Best of the West Business Invitational Jan. 28, co-hosted by 91°µÍø and the Chadron State Center on Economic Education (CSCEE). Schools attending were Alliance, Arthur County, Bridgeport, Chadron, Hay Springs, Hemingford, and Ogallala.

CHADRON – 91°µÍø Professor Dr. Kim Madsen will host a watch party Thursday featuring the release of the Nebraska Early Childhood Workforce Commission’s report, “Elevating Nebraska’s Early Childhood Workforce: Report and Recommendations of the Nebraska Early Childhood Workforce Commission.” The watch party will be from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Burkhiser Complex Room 210. The event is free and open to the public.
